I was contacted by Mr. Mark Frucini about generating some interest for Vintage Stock Cars and Stock Car enthusiasts in general. I have attached an after race report from their recent event in Savannah and also attached some pictures for your enjoyment. If anyone has any questions, please contact Mark. I think this will help with promotion of the club and also let stock car guys run with other stock cars. My plan is to combine Touring and High Speed and call it something like passing and also have open wheel spec racer group, Touring Lites and Stock Car. The Chamber of Commerce and H.S.R.created an awesome atmosphere for our racing celebration!<br>Four days and nights of street festivals,parties,food and live music surrounded our time at the "race track island resort"across the Savannah River from historic downtown Savannah! The first car race in America was held in Savannah in 1908!<br>We got on track for the first time <a style="color:rgb(34,34,34)">Thursday morning</a> and worked throughout the day debugging the car and by <a style="color:rgb(34,34,34)">Friday morning</a> we were ready to practice our race set up.<br>Everything went well and we qualified 1st in our stock car group winning the stock-car class for Saturday afternoons race although it was cut short by a safety car caution that lasted 4 laps.<br>Sunday's race was another good one,we started in front of our stock car group and no one was able to get close enough to make a good challenge so we were on the podium again!<br>There were lots of corporate sponsors,media coverage and spectators throughout the weekend!</span></div><div><span style="background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0)">Our race director was Dorcey Schroeder!! (my favorite race commentator) and participants included notable racing personalities and journalists,like Bobby Rahal, Hurley Haywood, Brian Redmond,Shane Lewis 24 hour Daytona champ, Simon Greg last years proTrans Am champ and Dutch Mandel editor of AutoWeek magazine to name just a few.</span></div><div><font color="#000000"><span style="background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0)"><a
